My daughter spent the last year on Iram’s live KS3 lessons. She has really enjoyed every
session and I’m so pleased to see how much they have added to our home Ed and at such
an affordable price.
The lessons are well structured and paced, so that DD can follow along, respond in the chat
function and take notes, where she wants to. Iram has a calm, warm,
and positive style. Her approach to the subject and to the students, aligns very well with our
own HE values.
She introduces key learning points in a clear way, connecting with students through
interesting material and wonderful exploring questions. She is very skilled at
engaging student’s curiosity. So much so, that I often find myself wanting to join in.
DD likes the way she relates the learning content to real life situations, as well as being clear
about the particular techniques and impacts used by the author.
DD also likes the way that the input of the other students is both clearly valued and well
managed, so that it adds to the overall learning experience and doesn’t distract from the
purpose of the lesson.
As a parent heavily involved in home Ed, whilst also still working part time, and travelling
frequently with my children, we need as much flexibility in our learning resources as
possible. This is where the lesson recordings are extremely useful.
As a result of this year’s program, DDs writing skills have definitely matured, her confidence
has continued to grow and most importantly for us, her love of the subject has been well
nurtured.
