We started our home education journey rather unexpected when we needed
to move countries. Both kids had never attended an English speaking school, and
as a qualified maths and science teacher, I knew that we would need to find a
qualified English teacher.
I am so thankful we found Iram! She has both qualifications and experience
(in the classroom and as a home educating mum). This combination means that she
has a wealth of information that she readily makes available to home educating parents.
As for her teaching, both kids started her live lessons with hesitation. Two years later, they
are confidently learning and enjoying English lessons.
Our oldest will start their IGCSE preparation with Iram this autumn, something we
couldn’t have achieved without her help.
Lastly, Iram creates a unique online experience that engages kids in learning and
participation. Her lessons are fun yet filled with skills and concepts. Homework is seen as a
way to exercise what they have learnt. We look forward to our lessons each week!
